Danielle Krause is a Finnish-American soprano who combines her expertise in vocal technique and linguistics with her passion for teaching to bring her talents regularly to the performance stage as well as to her successful voice studio. Born in Germany to a Finnish father and French Canadian mother, Danielle is the daughter of world-renowned baritone Tom Krause, who was not only a star on the world’s most prestigious stages, but also a sought after teacher and pedagogue in his own right. She developed a deep knowledge and passion for classical music and the art of singing from watching her father rehearse and perform, and he also served as her primary teacher and mentor for many years. Danielle has transformed the gift of being immersed in the classical music world from a very young age into a life-long passion of performing, and most importantly, passing on the deep knowledge and understanding of the human voice and expression to her students.

Danielle received her Bachelors in Arts in Photo Communication and Cultural Anthropology from the University of Miami, where she graduated with honors. She spent many summers studying at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria, The Savolinna Academy in Finland, as well as the Academie Musical in Villecroze, France. Fluent in French, German, and Spanish, and conversational in Italian, Ms. Krause is a highly skilled linguist who brings her expertise to language coaching for the classical and operatic repertoire. In addition to her work as a voice teacher and language coach, she also is in demand as a multi-language Voice Over artist for radio, television, and film in the national and local markets. Danielle has worked as a Marriage and Family therapist, specializing in Systems Therapy, Gestalt, and Expressive Arts Therapy, and is currently furthering her studies in somatic therapy techniques (Unified Therapy) at the Evolutionary Healing Institute to integrate into her lessons and coaching.
